Dr. Koduru is a female gastroenterologist at Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She completed her training at Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the largest medical centers in the country. Dr. Koduru is trained in diagnosis and treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders with a special focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease, motility disorders and women’s health. She also cares for patients with other disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, and gallbladder.
Dr. Koduru attended Gandhi Medical College in India, where she obtained her Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery. She worked at University of Chicago Medical Center as a research assistant prior to residency. Her mentor was Dr. David Rubin who is highly respected for his work in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She completed residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, IL. Dr. Koduru then completed her fellowship at Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Koduru is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of several professional associations including the American College of Gastroenterology, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Oklahoma Medical Association. She has published numerous research articles in various GI journals.
